Inviti

Collection of objects

A project of Federica Paglia

"Inviti" is a collection of cutting boards, trays and not only inspired by the concept of extension, but intended as the ability of an object to live in a articulated environment, capable to adapt and invent itself according to the situation and to our way of thinking, which is not always the same. Behind the simplicity of these objects and their combinatorial flexibility an open dialogue is set among the individual elements, the person and space, giving life to unique combinations, despite their industrial applicability. Made of beech wood raw and three types of marble.

Federica Paglia

Federica Paglia was born in Rome on 1988, where she lives and works as a designer. After her degree in industrial design and her master degree in system design at the ISIA in Rome she began working with several design firms as Covo , 5 + 1AA and Gumdesign , developping a passion while facing industry and poetry. Through a process that starts from the observation of everyday life and the re-reading of simple shapes, she realizes objects with sometimes invisible boundaries, paying particular attention to new ways of use focused on the singularity of each individual, that adjust the best to contemporary culture.
